Bomet University first cohort admission exercise
A historic milestone for Bomet University as the institution admits its first-year students for the 2026/2027 academic year.
On 18th August 2026, the admission exercise was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Mutai, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Ojera, who joined staff and students as the university welcomed its inaugural cohort, following the award of its charter in February this year.
Students joining the School of Education and the School of Pure and Applied Sciences were admitted on the first day, officially setting in motion a new chapter in the institution's journey as a fully chartered university.
On 19th August 2026, the admission exercise continued with students joining the School of Arts and Social Sciences and the School of Business and Economics.
